Are You Positioned to Win?

  • Save

You have all been to the stadium and seen athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. 1 Corinthians 9:24.

Athletes who win don't just show up on game day to give it their best. Winners practice winning every day.

Practice happens through the discipline of conditioning.

—–> Winners condition their actions by working with wise counsel (e.g., coaches).

—–> Winners condition their bodies through exercise and doing the work (e.g., frequent, often intense activity).

—–> Winners condition their mindset by doing what it takes to BELIEVE they CAN win (e.g., prayer, affirmations, being surrounded by people who believe in them).

—–> Winners invest in their desire to win by using the proper equipment to train well and excel on the field: the right clothing, protective guards, shoes, tools, nutrition and other essentials.

Winning in business is no different.

If you are going to finish this business cycle strong and dominate in the next cycle, you must first prepare to win, then run to win.

—> What tools do you need in place to support your success?

—> What daily actions must happen for you to stay on track?

—> How are you tracking your actions?

—> What are you feeding your brain?

—> Are you consulting wise counsel? Pssst… Wise counsel starts with Holy Spirit.

The Bible makes it clear that you are to RUN (i.e., do the work) to WIN (i.e., excel).

If the Word of God say it, you can do it. So, get to doing.
