You have more to be thankful for than you probably know …

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.  1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV)

For those of us in the USA, we’re wrapping up a day that many of us spend with family and friends celebrating Thanksgiving.

But …  not all of us.  Today is also a day many leaders both here in the US and all over the world waste time lamenting about what they have not accomplished, worrying about year-end financial and otherwise being depressed about business and life.

I know, I’ve been there …

If I have described you, I’ve got good news … keep reading!

If this isn’t you, but you know faith-based leaders who are depressed at this time of the year – I have good news that you can share with them … keep reading.

Here’s the good news!

You, yes YOU, have superpowers. As people who love the Lord and follow Christ, we have TONS of superpowers that turn into advantages in business that people who are not believers do not have. I’m going share around 31 of these advantages under around Christmas day.  Here’s the first six …

Business leaders who follow Jesus Christ have …

1. Continuously Increasing Endurance.

Consider it a great job, my brother and sisters, whoever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have it’s full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4

Your ability to endure and overcome both foreseen and unforeseen challenges is essential to building a sustainable business. It is impossible to build a business that will last long enough to honor God, support people and build legacy wealth without endurance. Be thankful that God allows tests and struggles increase our maturity, make us complete in his Will and increase our endurance.

2. An Ever Refining Character.

You rejoice in this, even though now for a short time, if necessary, you suffer grief in various trials so that the proven character of your faith – more valuable than gold which, though perishable, is refined by fire- may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:6-7

Your strength of your business can never surpass the strength of your character. Be thankful that God allows grief in various trials to refine your character in a way that strengthens your commitment to build a business that honors God, supports people and builds wealth.   Your refined character, which is more valuable than gold, not only supports the growth of your Christ-centered business, it can also result in raise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

3. Continuously Increasing Wisdom.

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

The ability to learn lessons from every situation and quickly apply those lessons to situations occurring in business separates winners from losers.  Be thankful that God allows all things that occur to be used for your good so long as you are prayerfully operating within his will.

4.  Divinely Given Justification and Glorification.

For those he he foreknow he also predesigned to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8:30

The ability to focus on developing programs, products and services that serve the needs of people – instead of chasing the accolades of people – positions a business for lasting impact on your target audience, which puts your business on the pathway to building sustainable, lasting wealth for the long term.  Be thankful that through God you are justified and glorified, so there is never a need to seek justification or glorification from any person.

5. Courage that is powered through Jesus Christ.

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world. John 16:33

The ability to fight for what’s right, reject a path to profitability that is popular, but wrong; and stay committed to always doing right by your clients, customers, partners, vendors, staff and other stakeholder – even when there is a shortcut that is “not that bad” requires courage and commitment to bible-based principles.  Be thankful that through Jesus Christ you can be courageous and have peace in business – even when things are challenging and finances are tight.

You can have this peace because Jesus has said even though you will experience suffering in this world, He has already conquered the world and through Him victory is on the way.

6. Full access to peace of mind

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7.

Businesses that react from environment stimuli  (instead of proactively planning for disaster while preparing for success) will not stay in business. Proactive actions are born from peace, not chaos.

Be thankful that God has given you a peace that passeth all understanding that helps you successfully navigate the difficulties of business, manage supernatural success through sales and visibility, and close deals that position your business for generational.  And, all with a spirit of courage and a sense of calm regardless of what is happening in the marketplace.
