The Door Could be Open for You

Faith Focus Flow: Business by the Bible Study

I know your works. Look, I have placed before you an open door that no one can close because you have but little power; yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Revelation 3:8

Revelation 3:8 offers both God's promise to us and the basis for the promise. Take a look at your actions in business over the past seven days and answer the following questions:

1) Based on how you've treated your suppliers and vendors, is it clear that Christ's love for his church is the model for your corporate values?

2) Based on how you spoke to your team, is it clear that Christ's spirit is the filter between what first comes to mind and what you say?

3) Based on the programs, products or services that you delivered to customers and clients, is it clear that you are only producing for people what you would offer Christ?

If you answered yes to these questions, rejoice! You are holding up your end of what God asks of you in Revelations 3:8. Rest in the peace and joying of knowing God is opening doors for you and your business that cannot be closed by any person. Keep working in a manner that glorifies Christ, be patient, and expect God to move on your behalf.

If you answered no, do not despair. Adjust your behavior knowing that God “knows your works” and will open doors per His will for your life and business! Keep doing “good works,” God sees you.
