Trust God

To most powerfully do the Work God assigns you, requires you to be fully confident in what God promises you. You've got first to know what God has promised, and then trust.

Confidence (not arrogance) is necessary to combat doubt, fear, and other ungodly thoughts known for attacking God's chosen people (this includes you!) on the journey of doing our Work.

  • To be arrogant means to have or reveal an exaggerated sense of one's importance or abilities. Dictionary.com
  • Confidence is the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something. Said another way, confidence is firm trust. Dictionary.com

As a founder, owner, or leader who follows Jesus – be confident, knowing that you can have firm trust in what God says about YOU and what YOU can do through HIM.

God's Promises

The Bible contains thousands of promises God has made to us, his children. Each promise is a truth you can rely upon while out in the corporate world doing the Work and influencing the people assigned to you through business.

All of God's promises are powerful. Four of God's promises are especially important to helping founders, owners, and leaders (like you and me) design legacy businesses that honor God and build wealth.

  1. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
  2. The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. Proverbs 21:5
  3. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3
  4. A man's steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand his own way? Proverbs 20:24

Commit these promises to your memory and let them directly impact your Work in business from closing deals to caring for clients and staff.

Christ-Centered, Biblically-Sound, Business Thinking

God's promises are the foundation upon which FAITHgineers™ like you and me can:

  • Build our confidence;
  • See God at Work in our Work; and
  • Fully step into our identity as a builders of corporate cultures and businesses that bring more of heaven to earth.

Now that you know you CAN do the things, Do them!
