On this first Monday of 4Q 2020, I encourage you to implement a “Success Framework” that governs your day. Implement this framework for yourself and key members of your team.
Here's why: A success framework guarantees that you can track and increase your bottom-line results with intentional action. Below is the 4 Step “Framework for Success Daily” I’ve developed to govern my daily activities this quarter – and measure my team's productivity. I also call this our “Daily Operating Procedures.”
Here's what I know for sure: Daily action and weekly tracking keeps all activity “decent” (for kingdom building) and “in order” (for business building). Let's get into my daily action steps for this quarter:
Step 1: CREATE. Every single day, we'll create something valuable for our community. This value can be something for sale (like a product) or something we'll share to nurture our community and generate leads (like our blog).
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. ~Ephesians 2:10
Step 2: SHARE. Every single day, we'll increase visibility among those we serve in business (or hope to serve through business) by sharing something of value.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:14-16
Step 3: GIVE. Every single day, we'll build and nurture rainmaking relationships by giving something away. A “Give” can be as simple as a note of encouragement sent by text or as elaborate as access to a complimentary program or product. Both “Gives” are effective.
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Step 4: ASK. Every single day, we'll ask someone in our community or network for help. This help could be a referral, recommendation, follow on social media, contribution to our blog, subscribe to our newsletter, purchase of a book, investment into our mastermind, or anything else. The more people invested in our success, the more successful we'll be. And – the more you ask (after first giving), the more you'll receive.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” ~ Matthew 7:7
And, there you have our scripturally-sound “Daily Operating Procedures” framework for success.
