How are you using your time?

2020 continues to prove that the days are long, but the years are short. We are within 60 days of the end of 2020, and it's essential to use our time wisely.

A lot is going on in the world …

  • Like celebrating President-Elect Biden and Vice-President Elect Harris while being mindful that others are not celebrating.
  • Like being mindful of the need to wear facial masks to protect each other, while knowing others refuse to do so.
  • And even like fighting systematic racism and inequality, while some deny their existence.

With so much discord and unrest, it is critically important for people who follow Jesus to use the Bible as our instruction manual for how to do Kingdom-Class business and how to treat each other.

Living our lives and doing business in alignment with the character of Christ is what we are all called to do – regardless of what we believe or know to be true.

Using our time and our days wisely to make Christ-centered business practices “business as normal” in marketplaces and industries through our actions (not just our words) is also what God calls us to do.

Here are a few bible passages to keep in mind as you make the countdown to 2021 your most productive days of 2020.

Use these passages to inspire your productivity and civility (as you shine a light) during what is still uncertain, troubled, and dark times for many. For … shining light and being salt is the Jesus following way to be! 🙂

Teach us to number our days so that we might gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

From Apostle Paul…

Pay attention, then, to how you live – not as unwise people but as wise – making the most of the time – because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16

Behave wisely toward outsiders, making the best use of your time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person. Colossians 4:5

Now that we've chatted about the importance of numbering your days, using your time productively, and minding your words, what will you do?
