Shine Bright! Infuse Your Brand with Faith

Ethics vs. Profit: Can You Win?

I’ve coached and trained hundreds of entrepreneurs, lawyers and leaders over the past couple of decades through this common challenge. (It's been more than two decades because I was a child prodigy. #LOL)

Here’s what I know:

Cultivating an aligned personal brand isn't just a test of business and personal brand strategy; it's an exercise in aligning our everyday actions with our faith and core values.

Let’s get into this edition of our series so I can tell you the 3 things you MUST do to build a brand that aligns with your multi-faceted self. 😉

1. Define and Live Your Core Values:

Your personal brand is a direct reflection of your spiritual and ethical beliefs, regardless of whether you are intentional about building your brand or not. Everything you say and do reveals something about who you are, and these revelations influence what people think about you, which makes the heart of your brand.

It's important for you to know that identifying your core values and ensuring they are evident in every aspect of your (i) work and (ii) messaging is a part of what creates and builds your cohesive and magnetic personal brand as a multi-faceted entrepreneur.

A cohesive and magnetic brand oozes with your core values makes it possible for projects and business ventures that are connected with your brand to (i) appeal to your ideal clients and (ii) attract your target communities … even in diverse marketplaces.

Here’s how you start:

Get clear about what you want to be known for and infuse these one to three things into everything you say or do.

2. Embrace Your Unique Journey:

Use your multifaceted experiences and interests as a part of what makes you unique, attractive, and impactful. When you share insights and commonalities from navigating various business ventures, you cultivate a personal brand that demonstrates how your faith (aligned with your values, principles, processes, or frameworks) influences your business decisions and also impacts your creativity and ability to innovate in diverse spaces.

Here’s how you start:

Use your #FaithFocusFlow journal to write down the various things you have going on in your work or business life, and identify what you bring about yourself to each of the things you’ve written down. Make bringing more of yourself to everything you do your priority.

3. Prioritize Value and Connection:

In everything you do, focus on delivering expansive value that is rooted in your core beliefs, while being intentional about building genuine connections with others along the way.

This approach elevates your brand and cultivates a supportive network of people to enrich your business journey through shared insight, community, referrals, recommendations, and repeat business too.

Okay – that’s it for today, but before you leave … keep in mind that the bible says to …

“Let your light so shine before people, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

This scripture reminds us that our actions and how we conduct ourselves should illuminate our faith and values.

The principle here is to live authentically and let our personal brand reflect our inner light and divine truth. By doing so, we not only attract those aligned with our mission but also serve as beacons of inspiration and integrity in the marketplace.
