Now, let's get into today's message!
Let's anchor ourselves in FAITH.
Today, we start with Psalm 46:10:
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
This verse is a powerful reminder to pause, reflect, and acknowledge the Divine power that governs everything, including our businesses. In the hustle and bustle of running a business, it's easy to get caught up and lose sight of who is really in control of the harvest of our labor in business.
We are called to diligently plant seeds and nurture them in our businesses through products, services, and relationships (be guided by Proverbs 10:4 and Galatians 6:9), confident that increase comes from the Lord. Know that you (and me too) are called to find stillness so you can clearly hear from the Lord in order to be obedient to His plans, wisdom, and will. (meditate on Jeremiah 29:11 and be encouraged).
Let's get FOCUSed.
In business, stillness can translate to trusting the process of being consistent in what we know to do – understanding that success doesn't always come from searching for more and more things to do.
Sometimes, the right thing to do in our businesses for a season is to slow down, be still, and realign ourselves with our mission and SMART goals. (Meditate on Psalm 46:10, the anchor verse for this message.).
This stillness allows us to gain clarity, focus on what truly matters, take intentional, disciplined, and consistent action – and, most importantly – trust in God's plan for our business.
Let's FLOW.
Plan moments of ‘stillness' in your daily schedule. These moments could be short breaks where you step away from business/work tasks to meditate, pray, or just breathe – being intentionally grateful for all God has allowed you to experience. This practice of stillness and gratitude promotes mental and emotional well-being. It boosts creativity and problem-solving skills, leading to more effective business strategies, solutions, and results – in a way that models grace, peace, and excellence.
Remember, the purpose of your ‘kingdom class business' isn't just to generate revenue but to do so in a way that serves others through value and glorifies God through excellence.
So take time to ‘be still' and trust God with complete faith that if you listen and obey, He will guide your decisions and actions on your business journey to aligned significant success.
