27 Things God Says About You

Hey there Faith-based Founders, Owners, and Leaders in Business! 

God loves you dearly and wants the best for you and the good works that have been prepared for you to do.  In fact, God loves you so much the bible is filled with things He says about you.  

Read these 27 truths about who YOU are in the Lord. Let each of these verses encourage you to be bold in doing the Work in business for which you have been created, called, and anointed.  

1. You were created for good works. 

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

2. You are a citizen of heaven. 

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20

3. You are God’s witness. 

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.  1 John 3:1

4. You are God’s messenger.  

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

5. You are not cast off or abandoned. 

For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. Psalm 94:14

6. You are not alone.  

This is My command: be strong and courageous. Never be afraid or discouraged because I am your God, the Eternal One, and I will remain with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

7. You are called to make disciples.   

Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

8. You are not alone. 

I commanded you at that time: The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All your valiant men will cross over in battle formation ahead of your brothers the Israelites. Deuteronomy 3:18

9. God loves you. 

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

10.  Eternal life is available to you.

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

11. You were created in the image of God. 

So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female. Genesis 1:27

12. You are wonderfully made by God. 

I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made. Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well. Psalm 139:14

13. You are valuable. 

Aren’t two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s consent.  But even the hairs of your head have all een counted. Matthew 10:29-30

14.  God crowned YOU with glory. 

[W]hat is a human being that you remember him, a son of man that you look after him?  You made him little less than God and crowned him with glory and honor. Psalm  8:4-5

15.  You are loved. 

But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

16.  You are saved by grace. 

For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift. Ephesians 2:8

17.  You are justified by faith. 

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

18.  Peace is available to you. 

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”   John 16:33

19.  You have hope and a future. 

“For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”  Jeremiah 29:11

20.  You are chosen by God.

For you are a holy people belonging to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be His own possession out of all the peoples on the face of the earth. Deuteronomy 7:6

21.  You are accepted. 

Therefore accept one another, just as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God. Romans 15:7

22.  You are not a slave to sin. 

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be rendered powerless so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin. Romans 6:6

23.  You are a friend of God. 

I do not call you servants anymore, because a servant doesn’t know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything I have heard from my Father. John 15:15

24.  Your body is a temple for Holy Spirit. 

Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own. 1 Corinthians 6:19

25.  You are made new in God. 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17

26.  You are anointed.

But the anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.  1 John 2:27

27.  You are royalty. 

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.   1 Peter 2:9
