Creating with Courage: Your 7-Part Formula

  • Save
As Faithgineers, we are called to be courageous, bold, and confident in creating what hasn't been created or done before, and breaking new ground, even in the face of criticism or opposition. This is especially true because we are called to create in a way that is spiritually aligned with who God has called us to be.

How we do what we do is as important as what we do.

Here is a simple yet powerful 7-part formula to keep your faith strong, focus energized, and flow activated as you navigate uncharted territories and create new things in the marketplace in a way that only you can.

  1. Pray for direction and for the success of what you are creating.
  2. Create it with purpose and passion.
  3. Commit it to the Lord, as Proverbs 16:3 reminds us: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
  4. Plan and Promote it to those who need what you have to offer most.
  5. Publish your offer to those who need it, stepping forward in faith.
  6. Release yourself from all anxiety or worry about your offer.
  7. Repeat this cycle with each new creation.

This is the path to making a powerful impact in the world through what you create and doing it in a way that brings you joy and brings God glory.

Embrace your journey through the marketplace with courage. Together, let's innovate to build a world that makes the earth mirror heaven.

Now that we've handled the business of this message, let's pray together.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the gift of business and your calling upon our lives to serve in the marketplace. As we journey through being creators and producers in the marketplace, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom.

Help us to remain steadfast in our faith and focused on our purpose in you as we seek to create and share programs, products, and services that reflect Your grace, glory, and love.

Please give us the courage to step into new territories, the wisdom to commit our plans to You, and the strength to confidently follow through with what You have called us to do.

May our Work in the marketplace make the earth more like it is in heaven.

We ask for these things in the name of Jesus.

Amen.
