Let’s get aligned!

The fastest way to exponential success is to align your intentions with your vision and your actions with your intentions. ~ TC Cooper

Alignment is essential to us at FaithFocusFlow™.

Alignment underpins how we develop and deliver content and programs to our community of Christ-centered leaders in non-religious business sectors. It's also how we stay committed to excellence (not perfection), to not be disqualified from being a vessel for our clients.

Alignment is key to our organization's focus on winning our race in doing the “good works” prepared for us.

The Word says: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Alignment helps me do the things that matter.

Alignment is essential to my ability to practice law, write this eLetter, serve our clients, and manage our small but mighty team in running our eCommerce store + now developing our re-imagined client training center (details are coming soon)and enjoy the peace of rest.

Every day that I am successful in being my most productive self (and to be perfectly honest … it's not yet every single day), I start the day with bible study and prayer and then move to a process that I call “The Power of 3.”

The Power of 3 keeps my actions aligned with my intention and helps me have the greatest impact with my day.

Here's how alignment and “The Power of 3” can help YOU get more done and have a more significant impact by doing less:

The Power of 3 is a three-question process (and worksheet) that you can use to ALIGN your intentions with your actions.

This process is powerful and effective at a basic level for solopreneurs and leaders who don't yet have a team. It's also effective at an advanced level for leaders and managers of people.

The Basic Accelerator Track:

This track for the “Power of 3” process is all about asking and answering with three key questions:

  1. What is your intended outcome for this day?
  2. How does this outcome connect to your vision?
  3. What three tasks can you do to drive your intended outcome forward in the most significant, powerful way?

Once you asked and answered these questions for yourself, act accordingly. Focus on completing your three high-impact, income-producing, revenue-generating, move-the-needle- actions only. Delegate or automate the rest.

Advanced Accelerator Track:

Once you have started the habit of doing what matters or have a team to support your work, you're ready to increase your 24-hour day and maximize your impact by asking, answering, and implementing your answers to two additional questions.

  1. What three tasks now completed manually, if automated, would increase the impact of a key metric? Focus on impact.
  2. While important, I am doing that does not have to be done by me and can be delegated? Focus on what makes your systems and processes more efficient.

Once you have the answers to these two advanced-level questions about automation and delegation, determine your next best step, and move accordingly.

Now that you have a few ideas for getting better ALIGNED and increasing the efficiency of your day, what will you do? Let me know.
