Today’s Message:

Taking an existing business or leading an existing team to new levels of success is not always easy. {Can I get an Amen?}

If you have been at business building or leadership within an organization for a while, you have likely seen ebbs and flows in levels of success, commitment, excitement, and results.

Maybe you’re like the people in this passage of the Bible, reflecting upon former glories and feeling less than confident about what you think is required to match past success. Or, perhaps you are new in business or your leadership role and feel ‘some kinda way’ about the chances you are good enough to actualize your vision of success for your company or your team.

If either description hits home for you – let your heart, mind, and spirt be encouraged by the prophet Haggai’s instructions to the leaders and the people of Israel.

When you do three key things, you can rest easy knowing that God has told you to be strong in doing the Work required to be successful; for He is with you and His Spirit is present among you.

  1. Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness in creating a Vision for your Work (which includes business, career, and vocation);
  2. Submit your Work to the Lord so that He guides you in establishing SMART Goals; and
  3. Focus your Mission in business on success designed to bring God glory through excellence in serving His people with your work (this includes taking excellent care of YOU and your family).

I have listed out each of these four steps because I believe in this year, it’s essential for you to activate your faith and bring alive the Word of God in your life & Work through your action.

Each step described above is rooted in scripture and will keep you focused on living out the wisdom of the Bible by establishing a firm foundation for your organization and your team.

It’s Time to Activate:

As a leader, it is vital that once you reaffirm your strength, you follow the prophet Haggai’s lead in encouraging & empowering your leaders and your entire team to be strong (Like the prophet Haggai did for Zerubbabel & Joshua, and then the people of the land).

Your positivity will encourage your leaders and team to be more confident than ever before in their Work to make your organization successful.
