Timing Matters

Facebooktwitterpinterestlinkedin

Sustainable success in business requires knowing and understanding the power of “timing.”

Money loves deliberate speed, but does not respond well to reckless behavior. The more thorough your plans and strategic your action, the better positioned you are to know the right “time” to take action on whatever comes your way.

It’s very true that opportunities vital for you to act on right now in order to up-level your business (regardless of whether you feel ready or not) CAN and DO show up; however, it is essential for you to know that …

Not everything needs to happen immediately.

Not everything must be done now.

Not every idea is for today.

Not every apparent “opportunity” serves your current needs.

Commit to your goals.

Once you are fully dialed in to increasing your levels of service and revenue by making offers to more of your ideal clients than ever before … expect more things (disguised as opportunities needing immediate action lest they disappear forever) to come your way than ever before.

Do not get sucked into or distracted by intensity of “right now.” Stay connected to your goals and objectives for THIS month, quarter and year. Do not be bullied or scared into doing anything.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6

—> Act on the things that present themselves and are in alignment with what you have planned to accomplish in this season or cycle of business. Press the “pause” button on everything else. Do not be afraid to say no … or “not now.”

There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under the heaven. A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away. Ecclesiastes 3:1, 6

Move Forward in Faith, Focus & Flow.

The tie that binds together these ideas on “right timing” is a deep trust in the Lord and a leaning on the wisdom that Jesus provides when you ask.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5

Know that what is for you, including through your business, will present itself at the “right time,” if you stay open and connected to God’s guidance. There is no need to be deceitful, take unethical shortcuts, mislead, steal, or do anything outside of the character of Jesus Christ.

Pray.

Do your Work.

Pray some more.

Trust God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
