Whose words are you using?

As we continue to be intentional about how we show up for the year, let's continue in the book of John (read the previous post here) and reflect upon the message in John 15:8 through your leadership and business-building lens.

The Word | John 15:8

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.”

Application | Use God's Words

As you consider today's scripture reference, think about the words you use in your prayers and petitions to God. The bible tells us that whatever we ask will be done when God's words remain in us.

Consider this thought …

When God's words are in you, God's words flow out of you. And so, when God's words are in you, what flows out of you in prayer are HIS words (not those that belong to you or the world). And … God tells us that His word will not return to Him void. Read Isaiah 55:11.

Execution | What will you do?

Be mindful of the words that you use in prayer. Pray God's words in your petitions and expect God to respond accordingly. Read your bible and use scripture in your prayers. You can also check out my book: 52 Simply Powerful Prayers for scripture-based prayers on Amazon by clicking here.
