Are You Counting Your Days?

Feeling stuck?

Look around and you'll find the answers you seek in the business (or lack of business) happening around you.

Our God is one of intention. Nothing is wasted when you slow down enough to pay attention to the people, situations, words of encouragement, words of disapproval, compliments, complaints, requests, responses and non-responses that are a part of your every day and night.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

Increasing Momentum:

If you are in a position of trying to determine where to focus your attention in business, look around you. Take no days or feedback for granted.

—–> What are current clients and customers saying?

—–> What does your staff enjoy the most and get done the easiest?

—–> What's selling the best?

—–> What inspires the most feedback?

Let the answers to these questions to guide your decisions about what to do next to build or increase momentum. Write down what you see, hear and experience.

Enter everything you observe into your calculation for determining what's next, pray about what you've written down, make a final decision, then move forward with humility, courage, and boldness. Click here to read yesterday's message for more inspiration on this point.

Getting Started:

If you are trying to figure out just how to use the gifts and talents God has given you to launch a business that glories Jesus Christ, serves people and builds sustainable wealth, the Bible has advice for you too! Let's go back to Psalm 90:12.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

Pay attention to your days and night, every day and night. Take nothing for granted. Everything matters. Everything counts.

—–> About what are people asking your advice?

—–> What do people always say after talking to you?

—–> What are people always asking you to do?

—–> What about you (or what you give) do people always want more of?

—–> What are you happiest helping people do?

—–> About what do you most enjoy talking with others?

—–> About what do you most enjoy learning?

—–> About what do you most enjoy sharing with others?

—–> What are you most excited about that impacts others?

Be observant about your daily interactions and write down what you observe. Ask Holy Spirit for wisdom in interpreting your observations.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5

The more observant you are about everything that happens during every day of your life – even those things that appear random – the more God will reveal His purpose for your life, through your life.
