Are You Living Up To It?

Live up to your calling.

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Ephesians 4:1.

As a faith-based founder, owner, or leader in business, your Work is bigger than what it accomplishes here on earth.

  • Your Work through business is more significant than being a vehicle through which you make money to support your life.
  • Your Work through business is more significant than providing a source of financial security for those you hire as staff and vendors.
  • Your Work through business is more significant than even creating things or providing services that add value to the lives of your clients, customers and those are impacted by what you do.

As a faith-based founder, owner, or leader in business, your Work is a vessel through which you are called to make the earth more like heaven, regardless of your industry. Every industry matters. This is an ultimate purpose of your Work.

The Word of God urges us to live (and by analogy, to do business) in a way that is worthy of our calling.

Here's how:

Employ your biblically-sound, business thinking at all times by being connected to the impact and influence of what is happening around you.

Be thoughtful and intentional in what you say (as a leader and through corporate communications) and what you do (in compliance with corporate responsibilities and Micah 6:8).

Now that you know, what will you do?

I’ve always felt that I wanted to do more when I worked than just “get a job just to get money”. I wanted it to have meaning and purpose and reflect the values of what I hold true. This is on point with exactly how I’ve always felt 🙂
