You cannot build a thriving business without God + sales. This combination is essential to survive and thrive!

If you are going to be in business and stay in business, you have got to be profitable.

If you are going to be profitable, you have got to consistently make sales.

If you are going to consistently make sales, you have got to always be selling.

Selling is neither a bad thing nor a dirty word. It is both necessary and honorable; and, like everything in business, instructions on how to do sales and marketing God’s way is found throughout the Bible. In fact, there are at least 50 references to some aspect of sales in God’s Holy Word.

Now that we’ve covered why it’s important to be focused on sales, let’s dig into the details ..

A critical first step in “selling by the bible” is to honestly believe the programs, products or services you are offering the marketplace can help those who purchase get a result that has a positive impact on their personal, professional or spiritual life.

When you think about what you are offering for sale, imagine how your clients feel when they benefit from what you have to offer.

The kingdom of Heaven is like treasure, buried in a field, that a man found and reburied. Then, in his joy, he goes and sells everything he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls. When he found one priceless pearl, he went and sold everything he had and bought it.
Matthew 13:44-46

—> Imagine the joy of the merchant who finds the priceless pearl.

—> Consider the excitement of the man who finds treasure in the field.

To be perfectly clear, the joy of finding Jesus and receiving His gift of everlasting life is matchless; this kind of joy and excitement is in the sole domain of Jesus.

However, your business CAN and SHOULD get people excited because of the results made possible by what you offer.

If you want your business to serve God’s kingdom and generate wealth, here’s the key …

Sell only what you believe has value and plays a part in bringing more joy, happiness, fulfillment, excitement, comfort or peace to the user. When you limit what you sell to these things only, you help God’s Will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.

Now that you’re ready to ignite feelings of joy and excitement with the results that what you have to offer brings, go out and sell!
