“Then He placed His right hand on me and said: Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.” Revelation 1:17
This verse in the book of Revelation brings me great peace in both the extreme highs and lows of life and business. Revelation 1:17 is a powerful reminder that our lives are not for us alone; we are here to bring Christ glory.
I've found that one of the best ways to stay grounded and connected to Christ during times of challenge and also those of overflow is to remember these words from our risen Savior Jesus Christ: “I am the First and the Last.”
Because God is both first and last, you can rest easy knowing that if you stay connected to God and focused on His Will, God will use your time in the middle of the beginning and the end for His glory.
Here are a few ways you can be intentional about using your life and your business (aka “the time in the middle”) to bring God glory starting right where you are …
—–> Continue to pray to God for guidance.
—–> Continue to do what God says, regardless of what you see.
—–> Continue to expect great things from God.
—–> Continue to be generous with what God's blessed you to have right now.
—–> Continue to praise God for all that He's blessed you to have right now.
—–> Continue to praise God for all that you're asking him to deliver for you.
—–> Continue to trust God to use your life and business for His glory.
